The great-granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II, Princess Charlotte, went on her first solo royal outing with her parents, Prince William and Kate Middleton. Her parents took her to the Commonwealth Games to make her understand the importance of sports.

There, she attended a swim meet, paid a visit to a charity her mother supports, and watched her favorite sport in person, which was a big surprise for everyone. For the gymnasts of the world, she can be a future threat.

Guessing the favorite sport of Princess Charlotte, one might think of soccer due to the popularity of the sport in the UK. In addition, she wished the English women’s soccer team with her father, the Duke of Cambridge. However, her favorite sport turned out to be gymnastics.

During the interview with Daily Mail, her mother, Duchess of Cornwall and Cambridge Kate Middleton, revealed her interest. She stated, “Charlotte spends most of her time upside-down, doing handstands and cartwheels.”

Meanwhile, Tim Lawler, the chief executive of Sports Aid, said to Hello Magazine, “She really, really loved seeing the swimming, but she’s interested in the gymnastics, and while they’re trying lots of different sports at home, I understand, when I asked her about sport she answered very easily and said, ‘It’s gymnastics that I like,’” After the revelation about little Princess’ favorite sports, she can be a tough competition to gymnasts across the globe in future.

The Royal little princess has a diverse range of passions that appear to be related to her parents. In 2020, Prince William acknowledged that his daughter had mastered the floss dance.
