Simone Biles was just 19 years old when she made the whole stadium stand in respect for her country and her win! By winning four gold medals in Rio, Simone became an overnight sensation that year.

Amidst all the gold and glitter, things were, however, not that easy for Simone. For an athlete to live up to the expectations is sometimes tricky. The stakes involved are many. Unable to cope with all the pressure and deteriorating mental health, Simone thus took a bold and unexpected step in the 2021 Tokyo Olympics. Simone makes it clear 

The reactions were mixed when Simone officially announced that she was withdrawing her name from the final individual all-around competition. While many came out in her support, others called it her end! The speculations started that she is going to retire from the sport.

Falling to one such speculation was Simone Biles’ young fan. From sources unknown, the young fan heard that Simone had retired, following which she cried for an hour. Speaking about the incident, the little girl’s mother wrote on Twitter, “my daughter learned that @Simone_Biles retired today, and she has cried literally for the last hour.”

Many users were quick to inform and assure her that Simone has not retired yet. Joining them was the GOAT Gymnast herself.

Clearing all doubts and assuring her little fans, the 25-year-old wrote, “I haven’t retired though 💖 just working on my mental health.” For the time being, the young star is just focusing on herself and her mental health. She is perhaps healing from within!

Standing up and speaking for oneself is definitely not easy in a world full of opinions. Nonetheless, the young gymnast always shows the ‘courage to soar high!’

Simone Biles all set to make a return 

It’s already been a year since Biles professionally graced the vault. There is no doubt that the fans are missing seeing their favorite gymnast perform. Working on her mental well-being, the gymnast GOAT seems ready to put the past behind her.

Though it’s unclear whether or not she will be joining the team for the Paris Olympics, she is, however, ready to test her limits! Speaking about her future plans, she was quoted saying, “I want to see how much I’m capable of, how talented I can be.” A true fighter, she is not ready to back down so easily.
