In a statement shared on social media, the 19-year-old gymnast expressed the abrupt nature of the injury and her commitment to recovery: “I had to withdraw from the World Championship due to a knee injury—this has resulted in being a full tear to my ACL. I’m still processing this and know there’s a tough journey ahead. With support, I aim to return to the sport I love as soon as possible, though the timeline remains uncertain.“ Alongside her recovery, Gadirova appreciated the ongoing support and love from her followers.
