Could baby Biles aka Ronni Biles be the next Simone Biles? At just 1.6 years old, Ronni already adores her TT’s routines (Simone Biles) and follows her to gymnastics, sporting cute leotards with the same design as her aunt’s. Although Biles started gymnastics at age 6, Ronni isn’t waiting that long. With a head start on her elite career, she’s already spending time at the family-owned gym, WCC, in Texas. While most toddlers her age are watching cartoons, Ronni prefers watching gymnastics. A chip off the old block, Ronni is following in her aunt’s footsteps.

On July 16th, Simone Biles’ sister-in-law, Sammi Biles, shared an adorable video of Baby Biles watching her aunt Simone perform a floor routine on YouTube. Most likely, she was watching Simone’s outstanding performance at the trials held last month, where she dominated the all-around with a score of 117.225. Despite it being 5:30 in the morning, Baby Biles was wide awake, captivated by the performance instead of sleeping. Sammi captioned the video, “This child has been up since 5:30 and only slept about 7 hours, & mom = 5. Thank goodness for YouTube and USAG!” It seems Sammi is delighted to have access to the recaps available on the USA Gymnastics channel.

Even at the Core Hydration event this year, Simone Biles’ niece was watching Simone perform from afar. At the same time, Sammi shared an Instagram story: “Miss Rachel got the boot this morning because little miss threw a fit & wanted to watch TT’s highlights from last night instead via YouTube.” “Miss Rachel” refers to a popular YouTube channel, known for its educational content for babies.

This suggests that instead of watching educational videos, Ronni Biles to watch Simone Biles’ US Classic performance highlights on YouTube. The caption further emphasized, “It was actually so cute – clapping and jumping up and down.” She was undoubtedly wholly and solely into gymnastics before she even turned 1.

On July 12th, Sammi once again delighted her 5.3k followers with adorable pictures of Baby Biles at the World Champions Centre in Texas. What was intriguing was Ronni was trying to perform a floor routine. At that time Sammi, expressing her awe at Ronni’s early interest in the sport, remarked,  “WCC’s littlest elite/honorary member – kidding but ah so adorable.” Sammi isn’t the only one recognizing Ronni’s potential as an elite gymnast.

Back in May, Simone Biles proudly announced on Instagram, “WCC’s newest elite team member, my niece Ronni.” It’s clear that Ronni, like her TT Simone Biles, is head over heels for the sport. Even before her first birthday, Baby Biles showed a keen interest in gymnastics.

There was a moment when she tried to pull herself up on the crib’s rings, with her mom capturing the aspiring gymnast in action and writing, “Watching TT and wanting to be like her.” As the saying goes, the early bird catches the worm, and Ronni seems set to soar to great heights in gymnastics. She’s already turning heads and making waves, showing that she has what it takes to perhaps one day fill Simone’s big shoes.
