Cheers were loud at the Target Center when Simone Biles clinched her ticket to her third Olympic Games. But among the spectators present in the arena, the 7x Olympic medalist’s family took all the brownie points, as they were praising Biles for her incredible feat. While Jonathan Owens and Ronald Biles gave her a standing ovation, her biggest cheerleader – Ronnie Biles – could not contain her joy.

As Simone Biles embarks on her third Olympic Games, she can be sure of at least one thing in her life: whatever happens, little Ronni will always be standing in her corner. In a recent Instagram story, Simone’s sister-in-law Sammi shared an image of the Biles battalion with the caption, “We love you TT.” The story shares the original IG post by Sammi where she elaborates further on how Ronni and the rest of the family feel about seeing Simone make history for herself.

“Witnessing HERstory,” gloats the post as Baby Biles, Sammi, and even the Chicago Bears safety and Simone’s husband Jonathan Owens were seen beaming with pride after TT’s triumph at the US Olympic Team Trials from last week. “She is literally the goat even through the challenges & adversities she’s been a champ to say the least,” reads the caption of the post further, and their emphatic emotions can be comprehended with ease.

Baby Biles remains one of Simone’s most vehement supporters. From dressing up as her favorite TT to wishing the gymnast a happy birthday in a sassy fashion, little Ronni is never too busy to keep tabs on Simone’s illustrious career. In the post, Ronni’s mother Sammi went ahead and talked about how Simone’s achievements give the entire family something to boast about.

Simone Biles secured her spot at the Paris Olympics for the third time. She claimed the all-around title with an impressive overall score of 117.225 over two days. Suni Lee finished second with a score of 111.675, followed by Jordan Chiles in third with 111.425. Jade Carey placed fourth with a score of 111.350, and Hezly Rivera rounds out the Team USA women’s gymnastics team.

…honored our little fam, especially ronni who gets to be a part of this journey too. it’s really special seeing how ronni lights up when she sees her TT competing,” read Sammi’s post further. Maybe it was because of her little niece’s relentless support for Simone that helped the gymnast to stay focused at the Team Trials, but she has been nothing but spell-binding of late.

The road to redemption for Simone Biles

Ever since the tragedy that befell her at the last Olympics, Simone has been determined to turn things around and forever seal her place as the best gymnast to have ever come out of the country. At last year’s World Championships, Simone clinched a total of six medals (four of them being gold), making it clear to her peers that the Paris Olympics would be the stage where she would set the record straight about her prowess. With Simone bagging four gold medals at the Rio Olympics, her withdrawal from the 2020 Tokyo Games final received even more backlash after the twisties clouded her mind. However, in recent months, Simone’s trajectory has been nothing but upward.

At both the Core Hydration Classic and the Xfinity US Gymnastics Championships, Simone came out on top, securing the top spot in both events. At the US Championship, she even recorded a massive above-60 points, her first since 2021, to ensure her place in the team was beyond a shred of doubt.

With just days left for the 2024 Olympics, little Ronni has a lot to cheer for as Simone heads to the French capital to redeem herself with the best comeback ever.
