Simone Biles, the gymnastics G.O.A.T has several firsts to her name. She became the first female gymnast to win three world all-around titles in a row. Biles had a clear goal and worked with utmost grit and dedication to become a name synonymous with gymnastics. A person of such clarity and vision didn’t have a problem with her Ex, Stacey Ervin, trying different sports.

Simone Biles is okay with wrestling but not UFC
The couple first met in 2014, at the P&G Gymnastics Championships. Three years later, when Nellie Biles, Biles’ grandmother, hired Stacey to coach at her gym in Texas, they got a chance to reconnect. Eventually, they made their relationship official in 2017. Besides being a gymnastics coach, Ervin sought an outlet to exhibit his energy and competitiveness.
To satiate this urge, he took part in an American Ninja Warrior qualifier. Also, he brought up another idea to Simone. “What about the WWE?” he asked. Biles instantly said no, before really knowing what it was. However, after a while, she thought it would be quite cool.

She continued, “I would always watch like ‘Total Divas’ and that all the time.” Furthermore, she explained that she thought they would beat each other up. Biles stated, “They do, but it’s in kind of a safer way. It’s not like UFC. You’re not trying to kill them. This is to entertain.” However, after a few distressful experiences, he eventually bid adieu to WWE.

Stacey was a proud boyfriend
In 2019, as Simone clinched her fifth all-around world championship title in Stuttgart, Germany. Her fans across the world celebrated the massive success along with her boyfriend back home. Although he couldn’t accompany her to the venue, he was present by his spirit.
“MY WOMAN IS A 5x WORLD CHAMPION IN THE ALL-AROUND & I COULDN’T BE MORE PROUD,” he wrote in the post he made after her victory. “I get hyped every time I watch her do her thing & today was no exception. Congratulation, babe! The whole world is proud of you!”
