Simone Biles is gearing up to clinch her ticket to the Paris Olympics in just three days, and her loving family is rallying behind her with unmatched enthusiasm. At the National Championships, the Biles clan turned heads as they cheered for their champion in matching uniforms, and now they’re set to do it again as Simone prepares for the 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Gymnastics Trials.

Sammi Biles, Simone’s sister-in-law, who is the wife of her brother Ron Biles II, shared delightful snapshots of the family’s preparations on Instagram. The photos capture the heartwarming efforts to create ‘Simone Biles’-themed gear for the big event at the Target Center in Minneapolis. In her Instagram Stories, Sammi posted pictures of herself meticulously gluing rhinestones onto grey WCC shirts emblazoned with “USA” in bold red letters.

In a subsequent story, Sammi showcased a stylish black sweatshirt featuring “BILES” in orange font in dazzling red rhinestones, with detailed baby blue leaves, accompanied by the caption, “excited to rep the sister-in-love.” The final touch came in a third story featuring  a baby blue and white cap bedazzled with blue and gold beads and adorned with the name “Biles.” 

Alongside the cap was a blue star necklace from the brand Kendra Scott. Sammi Biles affectionately captioned this story, writing, “we love you TT! have fun out there & keep doin your thing,” a heartfelt message from Simone’s niece, Ronni Biles, aka Baby Biles, who lovingly calls her “TT.” As we reflect on this wholesome gesture by Sammi, it’s not surprising to see the Biles family always going all out to support their gymnastics star, Simone.

The Simone Biles super fan club

Last year, when Simone Biles became the oldest woman to win her eighth national title at 26 years and 166 days old, her family flew all the way from Houston to San Jose to support their gymnastics queen. Baby Biles even took her first flight at just nine months old to see her “TT” make history. In a touching tribute to Simone’s leotard mantra, “But still I rise,” her family wore matching purple T-shirts with the same inspiring message. This year, the tradition continued.

In her Instagram stories, Biles shared photos and videos of her loved ones from the 2024 US Gymnastics Championships Day 1. They sported custom Biles T-shirts featuring a collage of her pictures with “SIMONE” written above. The family watched intently as Biles made history once again on Day 1 in Texas. On Day 2, they all donned cream-colored shirts to match her leotard, showing their continued support. Her sister Adria, her NFL star husband Jonathan Owens, her sister-in-law Sammi holding Ronni, her brother Ron, and her mom Nellie all cheered her on from the stands with full gusto.

Jonathan Owens was even seen nervously holding his breath during the more challenging moments of her routine. After she nailed her performance, the family erupted in applause, with Owens and Ron sharing a triumphant high five. As Simone Biles gets closer to clinching her spot at the Paris Olympics and making her Olympic comeback, you can bet the stands will be buzzing with her family’s love and cheers.
