Simone Biles completed a fairytale comeback in Paris. Having faced unprecedented criticism following her decision to pull out of Tokyo, Paris came as a boon for Biles. Displaying a top-notch performance, the 27-year-old raked up 4 Olympic medals, 3 of which were golds. Now, while such a record already seems quite impressive, Biles could have possibly missed the chance to earn yet another gold medal. 

According to a recent video uploaded on social media, Laurent and Cecile Landi have been spotted allegedly arguing over submitting an inquiry for Biles’ floor routine. As they were conversing in French, only the words ‘Simone’ and ‘Inquiry’ could be fathomed reading their lips. While the duo could not conclude, time ran out, and the US gymnast queen took the silver medal. This allowed her arch-rival, Brazilian gymnast Rebeca Andrade, to clinch her first gold medal in the Paris Olympics.
