Simone Biles’ champion self is just not content with 7 Olympic golds and a host of routines named exclusively after her. After reaching the pinnacle of greatness, Biles is still looking to keep going with her latest Gold Over America Tour endeavor. Registering her for the second edition of the event, Biles has already made ripples in the gymnastics fraternity. Performing at the Footprint Center in Phoenix, Biles attempted pommels on a mushroom. This was a never-before-seen act that awed the crowd while giving a glimpse of how far Biles’ legendary thought process extends.

However, along with the highs, there are also a significant bit of lows in store for the US gymnastics queen. One of her not-so-favorite ventures, dancing, makes up a huge part of the Gold Over America Tour. Well, Biles does have dancing as part of her gymnastics routine, but she is still not over her forgetful outing on ‘Dancing With The Stars’. Surprisingly, despite not having a fond memory of the show, Biles recently decided to reunite with her dancing partner from 2017.

If there is something that Simone Biles would like to sidestep, it would be dancing. And much to her horror, the Gold Over America tour requires Biles to dance an awful lot. Prior to the start of the tour, Biles recalled in an interview posted on Instagram by Gold Over America Tour’s official page about her dancing jitters. Biles mentioned how she was all panicky and nervous during her first tour. The 7x Olympic gold medalist revealed that there were times when she used to forget her routines and even the exit routes.

Thanking her BFF Jordan Chiles, Biles stated that she helped her a lot in calming the initial butterflies in her stomach. Fast forward to 2024, and Biles is still the nervous self when it comes to dancing. And she has rightfully decided to reunite with Sasha Farber, her Dancing With The Stars partner. In a recent upload on Biles’ Instagram story, Farber could be seen enjoying it with Biles at a party. While this might look like a simple reunion, the underlying reason could well be significant.

Earlier, Biles confessed that she had a hard time learning her dance routines. In a snippet uploaded by Gold Over America Tour’s official Instagram page, Biles was heard detailing her experiences. She said, “We learn all of these dances in a week, so that’s the most nerve-wracking part.” Such a response had even the interviewer gasp and opine that the tour was more of a pop concert for the gymnasts. Under such circumstances, Farber looks like a perfect aid that could help Biles let go of her dancing jitters. After all, it was Farber’s assistance that made Biles finish fourth in her maiden DWTS appearance.

Simone Biles partnered with Sasha Farber in the 24th edition of the dance reality show in 2017. During the course of the show, Biles had some harsh moments with the judges that included advice to smile more during her performances. While Biles did come up with a legendary “Smiling doesn’t win you gold medals” reply, she continued to try and better herself. Under the able guidance of Farber, Biles mesmerized the crowd with Samba, Contemporary, Quickstep, Cha-cha-cha, and Tango.

In fact, the final performance of the episode saw Biles and Farber get a perfect 10 score from the judges. Unfortunately, what turned out to be quite a shocking result, Biles and Farber got eliminated from the show by public voting. This came as a huge mental setback for Biles, who admitted to ‘running’ to the washroom to shed tears. Nonetheless, despite the setback, her relationship with Farber remained intact. The Olympic legend has, on several occasions, voiced her support for Farber on DWTS. And now, going back to her trusted dance mentor, the fans might see more breathtaking Simone Biles moves coming up.
