All that glitters is gold. Watching Simone Biles and her entourage spread magic across the USA with the Gold Over America Tour has been incredible, and things only get better with their iconic venues. If the Chicago Bulls’ home turf were the proud stage for Biles and her team at Chicago, New Jersey’s Prudential Center will have its own boasting rights this Tuesday.
On October 1, Prudential Center will host the 7x Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles and her GOAT tour battalion in Newark, New Jersey. In 2022, the venue was ranked among the top 5 in the world in a survey by Pollstar Magazine. It is an 18,000-seat arena and what’s interesting about the venue is that it is home to the NHL New Jersey Devils, Seaton Hall University’s men’s basketball team, and other big events. So one can only imagine how big Simone Biles and her team’s event is going to be.
Fondly called The Rock, the property is owned by Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment. Since opening its doors in 2007, the Prudential Center—Newark’s crown jewel—has taken the sports and entertainment world by storm. In 2023 alone, the stadium has made a box office sale of $93 million, showcasing just how popular it is among the world’s top organizers.
