Who doesn’t love to see their bae putting up some PDA? At least Simone Biles does! The 7x Olympic gold medalist and her hubby Jonathan Owens are never shy to show their love for each other in public, and he did it again! Biles showed up to cheer for the football safety and the Bears at Soldier Field as they took on the Minnesota Vikings, and she was treated to something special!

Even though her husband Jonathan Owens’ team was handed a defeat (30-27) by the Vikings today, the gymnastics GOAT had something to smile about. Ever since the Gold Over America Tour came to an end, the Houston native has been feeling the blues of being out of action. Amidst the sadness, Owens came up with something special to give his wife a reason to beam about.

In her recent Instagram story, Biles shared snippets of her hubby’s celebration after creating a turnover in the middle of the Vikings’ run play. In the brief video, originally shared by Yahoo Sports, Owens can be seen celebrating the forced fumble by taking a page out of Biles’ book. “Jonathan Owens with a nod to his wife after his forced fumble,” read the caption of the original post, and Biles shared the same with a long line of emojis to underscore the glee she felt watching him do the gymnastics move at Soldier Field today.

The Bears were in the red zone when JO snatched the ball away from the Vikings’ Aaron Jones and went on to record a turnover. After the recovery and forced fumble combo, Owens threw his arms in the air, as if executing a perfect gymnastics dismount. A post by the official USA Gymnastics account also shared the moment claiming that the NFL star would get a perfect 10 score for that. Simone’s coach Cecile Landi also shared the USAG’s social media update stating that Owens wouldn’t have any deductions for his celebratory move.

Naturally, Biles’ jubilation wasn’t unfounded, especially since the move was long due. Back in September, the gymnast’s heartbreak was apparent when Owens failed to deliver on his promise during the Bears’ game against the Tennessee Titans. In August, Owens promised to pay tribute to his wife if he scored an interception. But that disappointment is now in the rearview mirror! On the other hand, Simone has also upped her game in recent weeks keeping up with the clamor stirred up by the Bears fans.

This year was an especially hectic one for the 27-year-old gymnast. From the Paris Olympics, where Biles finally reclaimed her high seat, to the Gold Over America Tour, she spent most of her months on the road. And yet, she managed to sneak out time whenever she could to show up at Owens’ games. But that didn’t come without its fair share of sneers from the fans either. In early September, showing up at a Bears match wearing an Owens-themed jacket, Biles infuriated fans because the attire showed her hubby during his Green Bay Packers days. But she was quick to mend her ways.

When the Chicago team took on the LA Rams later that month, Biles brought out her big guns. Doning a deep-blue knitted sweater with BEARS written on the front, the reigning Olympic and world champ exerted that she meant business, and the Chicago followers were all up for it. In October, Simone’s white-and-orange Bears-themed jacket once again melted the fans’ hearts, as did the custom black-and-orange jacket from earlier this month during Owens & Co.’s game against the Packers.

With all the to-and-fro displays of affection from both Biles and Owens, the Chicago camp now only needs to get back on its winning ways. But when will that come? Tell us your thoughts below!
