5-time PanAm gold medalist Canadian gymnast Ellie Black recently got together with the American athletes and it looks like they had a blast getting ready for the upcoming Games together. The 28-year-old had a lot of praiseful words for the members of Team USA as she picked up important pointers from the country’s best stars.

For any gymnast around the world, four-time Olympic and 23-time World Championships gold medalist Simone Biles is a role model to look up to with deliberation. Throw Biles’ best friend and the 2022 World Championships gold winner Jordan Chiles into the mix, and you have the best possible training group you can imagine. For three-time Commonwealth Games winner Ellie Black, being able to train together with these two gymnastics icons proved to be a much-needed development process, as highlighted in her recent Instagram post.

Black joined hands with her American colleagues at the World Champions Center recently and couldn’t stop gushing about their time together. “It was great to spend some time training at the World Champions Centre to prepare for 2024!“, wrote the jubilant Canadian in her post. She also said that she’s grateful for being able to call these incredible athletes her friends.
Black also took a moment to appreciate how these gymnastics stars come together to support each other and help their comrades reach the heights they deserve. Along with Biles and Chiles, Ellie also extended her thanks to other American sensations like the 2023 PanAm Championships gold medalist Zoe Miller and the 2023 World Championships team member Joscelyn Roberson.

Ellie Black looking to set the record straight
Ellie was part of the Canadian national team participating in the 2016 Olympics, where she finished 5th All-Around. Black reappeared for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics where she narrowly missed out on a podium finish in balanced beam, while Simone took the 3rd place at the same event.
