Is Simone Biles the greatest gymnast of all time, or is there someone else who deserves that title?

The much-awaited Gold Over America Tour is in full flight. After a gap of three long years, the Simone Biles-led pop-styled gymnastics tournament is traveling across the US and bringing titillating action to the fans everywhere. While the main attraction of the tournament is obviously the incredible gymnasts, it is also the culmination of the dreams of a celebrity American director-choreographer.

In the land of dreams, virtually nothing is off-limits. If you have a potentially gripping idea, all powers will join hands to make the thought in your head a reality, and sometimes, it can result in something truly incredible. And it was exactly that for Mark Swanhart.

An article by Trib Live from September 26 notes how Swanhart can be considered the main man behind the spectacle that is the Gold Over America Tour. The article notes that Mark tapped into his wisdom tank, enriched with the experience of working with the likes of The Rolling Stones and Disney, to pitch an idea of a national touring gymnastics show after the conclusion of the 2021 Tokyo Games.

For obvious reasons, Simone Biles was the first name that Swanhart & Co. wanted to get on board. “We told her we wanted to go out with her and take the best of the best with us. She gathered her gymnasts and we hit the ground running,” the article quotes the choreographer saying, underscoring how the GOAT event can be viewed as his brainchild. The showbiz mogul’s idea resulted in what became the 2021 Gold Over America Tour, and now it’s back after three years to bring more high-flying action to the gymnastics followers of the country.

Naturally, Swanhart is once again feeling the excitement along with Biles and her squadmates. He believes a significantly different experience from the Olympics will greet the fans across venues in the US. “I think people will get a very different experience from what they watched at the Olympics. Gymnastics can sometimes be very sterile — the men don’t even get music for their floor routines — but this is filled with music, including a segment in the middle that’s really meant to feel like you’re right there at the Olympics,” he said. With the GOAT scheduled to hit Swanhart’s home state on Wednesday, he will be sure not to miss the action, as should no one!
