Will Simone Biles' hometown performance at Moody Center outshine her previous shows? What are your thoughts?

Simone Biles’ Gold Over America tour is all set to reach its next destination. After successful shows in cities like Oceanside, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Denver, Minneapolis, and others, it is now set to move to Austin, Texas. This is a special place for Simone, as it marks the tour’s entry into her hometown state, where it’ll have three shows. The first one will be in the Moody Center.

The Moody Center is home to the Texas Longhorns, one of the most successful college basketball teams in the country. The Longhorns have won four conference tournaments, most recently in 2023, and have made four Final Four appearances throughout their history. Their success makes the Moody Center a fitting venue to host the Gold Over America Tour.

Have an interesting take?

With the Gold Over America Tour scheduled for October 18th at Moody Center, many may be wondering what is next for the stadium. With a lot of the community coming through in the following months, the Texas stadium has also scheduled a lot for the community. Hip-hop artist Don Toliver will entertain on October 23rd in support of the Psycho tour. Two days later, on October 25th, will be the indie artist Conan Gray gracing the stadium with his Found Heaven On Tour.

Sabrina Carpenter will take the stage at the Short N’Sweet Tour on October 28th, followed by musical artist Pink on November 3rd. With such major acts, the stadium consistently offers entertainment to its regulars and continues to serve as a key pillar of the community. This makes it an ideal venue to host Simone Biles’ Gold Over America Tour. Hopefully, the performance will be just as successful as in other cities.
