Every event has a story to tell. An extravagant celebration of America’s top gymnasts- The Gold Over America Tour is no less popular than the Olympics. Scheduled from September onwards, the 2nd edition of this tour has delivered athletic brilliance along with top-class performance! Reflecting inspiration, the tour is determined to motivate and push the next generation of championed athletes. With each performance, the tour has drawn the audience’s attention to the event, this time also with a familiar face in the lead.
Leading the 32-arena show tour, Simone Biles, one of the most decorated female athletes of today, is currently in action after her last performance at the Paris Olympics. Facing a disappointing end there, she’s come back stronger and wittier. Part of her preparations for the tour funnily included ‘goat yoga’ alongside Jordan Chiles, which saw the star duo balance a goat on their backs! With more confidence and prioritizing her mental health, Biles’ upcoming tour stop on Friday at Greensboro Coliseum is one to look for.

Biles exclusively shared her excitement with CNN’s Coy Wire after completing her tour in LA. “It’s more of a celebration tour. Not just for us gymnasts, but for the audience as well. I am eager to share the love and passion that we have for gymnastics with everybody in the crowd.”
The 11-time Olympic medalist initially kicked off the tour with its first show held at Frontwave Arena. Carrying forward, the other prime locations involve Denver, Kansas City, Chicago, Boston, Cleveland, and more, with the tour currently headed toward the iconic Greensboro Coliseum arena in North Carolina.
Home to several sports, specifically basketball, the arena has a well-established history. The ACC and NCAA basketball are the highlighting events of the arena, including 35 ACC and 12 NCAA tournaments, respectively.
