The one other thing on Simone Biles‘ mind, apart from world domination, is definitely her new house! Fresh out of Paris and back home in Texas, the 27-year-old has taken over the reins of her ambitious mega project again. 

The gymnastics G.O.A.T is known to offer her 12.7 millions Instagram followers behind-the-scenes look at the construction of her dream home in Texas since March 2023. She has been meticulously curating the plan and construction of their new home with her husband, NFL safety Jonathan Owens. 

On August 22, Biles posted a series of Instagram stories offering a peek at the near-finished kitchen, showcasing black and white marbled walls, sleek counters and backsplash designed similarly, newly installed white cabinets, and stylish new graphic light fixtures. She captioned the photos, “So excited to make this house a HOME…a couple more months :)”

In her next story, Simone flaunted a mirror selfie featuring a chic, baggy camouflage trouser and a white tee. But the real star of the show was her GOAT pendant, a nod to her gold medal win in the all-around women’s gymnastics final. Biles also gave fans a glimpse into her busy day, writing, “house meetings all day + landscaping plans + pool plan + audio and security + etc,” clearly eager to move into her $3 million new mansion.

Notably, the couple bought their piece of land shortly after their engagement. At that time, the property was only marshy land. Today, it is a fully built home with a top floor that the couple built from the ground up. The $3 million dollar will reportedly feature a game room, a wet bar, a theater, and also balconies with water views. Her husband is currently signed with the Chicago Bears, so a property some 1100 miles away might be surprising to many. However, Biles, it seems, has a special place in her heart for the Lone Star state—it’s where she grew up after being adopted by Ronald and Nellie Biles.

Biles first bought a Texas property in 2018 for around $375,000—a traditional three bedroom 2,737-square-foot brick house, complete with a kitchen and walk-in pantry, coffered ceilings, a two-car garage, a formal dining room and a primary suite. She later sold to a family member for an undisclosed amount before investing in real estate yet again.

In 2021, the gymnast bought another 4,000-square-foot contemporary estate with four bedrooms and three bathrooms, and an L-shaped pool. The house was listed for $863,500 in 2020, but it’s unknown how much Simone bought it for.

As for her stylish new investment, back in November last year, the $7.1 million worth Olympian hit a snag when what she thought would be a quick visit into a full-day project. She hilariously shared how she ended up calling her dad for backup when things got a bit overwhelming. “Jonathan will deal with the end result, oops… I hope I did it decently!” she quipped. They drove in the rain to plan how the couple would decorate their house. Jonathan suggested that they would keep a corner, especially where they would hang their jerseys and leotards.
