Being the wife of Chicago’s safety star Jonathan Owens doesn’t warrant fame among the NFL community. And neither does her poor track record of making bad wardrobe decisions to the Bears’ recent games. But the 7x Olympian has heard the complaints and, keeping up with her sharp skills, has also made efforts to mend her ways.

After being shredded by the critics for months for her Green Bay-themed jackets at wrong matches, Biles finally has started to wear more appropriate clothing in recent weeks. But she still has some road to walk before the Bears fans decide to let her off the hook completely. However, the efforts aren’t falling on deaf ears, or blind eyes in this case.

Simone Biles does it again, despite the Bears’ heartbreak

As Owens & Co. took on his former team, the Green Bay Packers, at Soldier Field in Chicago tonight, Biles once again pounced on the opportunity to do it again. This time, in a custom black-and-orange Bears jacket over a suave black sweater. The diamonds around her dazzled, but the jacket was the thing that stole the show. Having a light conversation with JO at the sideline, Biles fixed his hair, and fans were once again going aww over the couple’s love. The NFL’s official Instagram account also shared the scenes with a post with the caption “Simone Biles in the building for Packers vs. Bears.”

At several Chicago matches in recent weeks, Simone Biles was spotted wearing more than one Bears-inspired outfit. As if it was like most fans weren’t prepared for it, they were in shock seeing the gymnastics icon in the correct stripes. However, overcoming the initial bewilderment, the Chicago loyalists also commended her for trying to show her commitment to the NFL team. But it looks like Simone might have taken things too seriously, and is determined to flaunt as many Bears merch as she can.

Simone Biles has more up her sleeves, err, in her wardrobe

When the Bears clashed against the Cincinnati Bengals in August, Biles showed up with a jacket inspired by her husband, fans were swift to notice that Owens’ collage showed him in Green Bay colors. Naturally, the fans weren’t impressed and didn’t fail to make her understand that either. Subsequently, Biles took to Instagram Threads to urge them to give her some wiggle room and stop coming at her at every chance. But she was cooking behind closed doors. In September, Simone was present to witness her husband playing a pivotal role in the Bear’s triumph over the LA Rams. And she brought out the perfect sweater for the day. A deep-blue sweater with BEARS written in perfect white on the front, she looked as graceful as ever, and the Bears fans were over the moon.

The October Promise and its realization

In October, Biles admitted that she was buying a lot of Bears Gear. “So, don’t you worry, guys!” she assured the Chicago camp. And then, in the next month, social media once again went ga-ga as snaps of the Olympian wearing a white and orange Bears jacket did the rounds.
