Not so long ago, Biles took to Instagram stories to post about her date night with Owens. However, this time they were joined by the British-American fencer Miles Chamley-Watson. The trio was seen enjoying drinks and laughs. Biles shared a snippet of the same on her stories and wrote, “Good vibes always.” However, the vibes seem to have been interrupted as she put up something else soon after!

Imagine having won seven Olympic gold medals and being mistaken for a reality star on date night. Well, that was the unfortunate yet hilarious moment that Simone Biles encountered on her date night. Soon enough, Biles, being the quirky person she is, took to Threads and spoke about the same. So what exactly happened on date night?

Biles went on to write, “These guys just asked if I was from too hot too handle 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 lmao GOODBYE.” The queen was asked if she was a contestant on the Netflix reality show Too Hot to Handle during her NYC escapades. While hilarious, it also left many wondering who she could’ve been mistaken for. Could it be possible that Simone Biles was mistaken for being stunning model Melinda Berry?

Berry appeared in season 2 of Too Hot to Handle. And since then, she has been popular on social media and YouTube. Additionally, Berry was quite recently in a post and was seen wearing glasses, which happens to be a Biles staple. The case of mistaken identity, while quite unfortunate, seems to be just funny to Biles. Additionally, she has no intention of something like that ruining her adventures with Jonathan Owens.

The world sees Biles in her leotards most of the time; however, in her downtime, she is putting to use her sleek ensemble of luxury. In fact, on the night of the mistaken identity, her stories show off her Christian Dior Lambskin Cannage bag in white. This comes soon after her being spotted with a Hermès handbag. It’s clear that the two are going all out this season and enjoying their downtime to the fullest. Talk about living life on their terms!
