Simone Biles isn’t normal? Well, that’s what her coach said. Biles has been a force to be reckoned with when it comes to performing exacting routines and clinching accolades. She has faced some significant setbacks in her life in the past few years. But with her dedication and resilience, she came out of it brilliantly and marked her return in style.

Along similar lines, Biles made history on Sunday at the XFinity Gymnastics Championships when she became the first gymnast in the history of the United States to win eight all-around titles. Inside Gymnastics Magazine shared the video on their YouTube channel. The video captures French-American coach Laurent Landi talking about Biles. On a question about whether the vault is supposed to look that easy, Landi replied, “No, it’s not normal; she’s not normal.”

On a further question about how she was doing in the training and how it came out as compared to when she was in the gym, he replied, “Well, she makes it in training good, so she’s one of the rare gymnasts that’s good to meet and does it even better under pressure.” He further added that Simone Biles is awesome, and she is very ready to explode again.

The coach also revealed that she worked really hard to prepare for this event and that she still has a very long way to go. On a question about whether someone was going to do the second vault as it was not the priority, Landi conceded that was not actually the priority, but she did it when they reached the arena.

Nevertheless, it went their way, and she bagged a triumphant victory at the championships. With this, she looks ready to rock the upcoming events, especially the biggest of them all, the Paris Olympics.
