At the moment, MyKayla Skinner has it all. She and her husband, Jonas Harmer, welcomed “baby Lottie” not that long ago. Little Charlotte Jane Harmer came into the world on September 21 this year. While she is understandably the apple of both her parents’ eyes, that feeling extends to other people via the family’s social media posts.

Baby Lottie’s parents marked her arrival with an Instagram post. There have been many more since, allowing the world at large to dote on the adorable little one. In fact, with the holiday season close by, MyKayla Skinner’s first Christmas gift for her firstborn will be an Elf Box from Holiday Hack. Skinner shared an image of the unboxed gift via social media. Alongside, she also fanned some speculations!

MyKayla Skinner hoping to add to her family?

MyKayla Skinner shared the image via an Instagram story. She teased the possibility of adding more to her family. In particular, Skinner posed the question of whether she ought to give birth to a son. She captioned the image with the words, “I think Jonas has too many girls in his life right now! Should we add a little brother to the family?”

MyKayla Skinner knows a thing or two about growing up in a big family. She has three siblings: Jeremy, Chelsea, and Katie. Jeremy is the oldest of that clan, while Katie is the youngest. In other words, the Olympian never had a little brother. Clearly, she does not wish the same fate upon her firstborn. Pregnancy and her life after, while joyful, had a few painful moments, too.

Complications abounded before and after pregnancy

MyKayla Skinner confirmed she was not that well-prepared for the pains accompanying the joys of motherhood. She had to reinvent the wheel in more ways than one. The gymnastics icon, who retired in 2021, called pregnancy much more difficult than life as an Olympian. Moreover, the inevitable sleep deprivation and other challenges surfaced as well. With the couple’s fourth wedding anniversary looming, it appears as though they are steeling themselves for another round of the same.
