Kicking off proceedings in California, Biles and Co. will be touring the entire country, concluding their journey in Detroit.

Simone Biles has had one of the best fairytale moments in modern-day sporting history. After almost getting knocked out from mainstream gymnastics due to ‘twisties’ in 2021, she stands as the GOAT. Coming back,  Biles has won the World Championships, led her competition in the Olympic trials, and ended Paris with 3 golds and a silver. Woof! That’s some achievement we are looking at. And imagine the excitement when the fans knew that they had a possibility of catching the living legend live in action! 

Quite expected, it is Simone Biles who has captured all the attention in this year’s Gold Over America Tour. But a section of the critics might point out that Biles and Co. will not go all out during their routines at the event. As pointed out by the gymnastics legend herself, the GOAT tour is kind of a ‘pop show’ that involves dancing, music, and a bit of gymnastics. However, there is also a sentimental narrative that is associated with people going crazy for the Tour. 

This might be Simone Biles’ last appearance at the Gold Over America Tour. At 27 years old and having conquered gymnastics, not many are expecting Biles to turn up for LA in 2028. Of course, Biles has not confirmed her retirement as she stated, “Never say never” to Hoda Kotb, people do not seem to take a chance. A fan on Reddit seemed skeptical about taking her daughter to the Gold Over America Tour. Unable to decide whether she should go for cheap tickets or shed some extra money for a premium experience, the user asked for opinions on Reddit. And well, that was enough for the comments section to blow up. Now, usually, the internet is notorious for spreading negative opinions very fast. Surprisingly, things seemed quite different as people started to express their joy at how much of a great experience the tour was. 

Throughout Paris, the world witnessed not only the technical brilliance of Biles but also her heart of gold. On the night before the team finals, Suni Lee suffered from a panic attack. Ever since winning the all-around gold in Tokyo, Lee was constantly questioned about her worthiness. Fans bashed her claiming that it was due to Biles’ absence that led to Lee winning. Thus, ahead of Paris, Lee was mentally shaken. And guess who came to her aid? Simone Biles. 

Knocking on the doors of the GOAT late at night, Biles gave her some valuable advice that made Lee win multiple medals in Paris, including the team gold. Thus, not watching her in person would be a big miss. Biles mentioned that she is willing to embrace motherhood and that Jonathan Owens is also pretty much excited at the prospect. Come the Los Angeles Olympics, Biles will be 31. After all, this is probably the last time Simone Biles was performing live. “I really enjoyed it. We spent $300ish for two tickets after fees. We didn’t spend any other cash, as I’m not a merch person. I figured that it could be the last time to see Simone in-person (though fingers crossed for LA28/continuing the GOAT tour), and it was worth it in that regard.”
