On 25 September, Shilese Jones shared a touching moment on her Instagram story. She reposted a story from 7-year-old gymnastics prodigy Ari Capron. The adorable young gymnast has already trained like an elite. A few hours ago, she had just received her cute pink leotard akin.

Ari shared the picture of her complete set, along with a heartfelt caption, “Today’s gym fit! @shicanfly x svlyiap Thanks @amari.faithhh for making sure I got my leotard and poster. Both signed!“.

Jones reshared and added, “So glad you finally received them.” This special leotard is a collaboration between Jones and Sylvia P Teamwear. It features exquisite crystal embellishments and a halter neckline.

Not just the little gymnast, but Jones made a haven in the hearts of millions through her performances at the 2023 US Core Hydration Classic, 2023 Xfinity Championships, and the 2023 US Gymnastics World Championships Selection camp.

Interestingly, joining the ranks of champions like Simone Biles, Shilese Jones is all set to make her mark in the upcoming World Gymnastics Championships in Antwerp. Her impeccable performances in the bars and floor routines since her comeback have set a global benchmark. More so, with her staunch performance in the 2023 US Gymnastics World Championships selection camp, she took 2nd place in the roster with a margin of just 0.4.

Shilese Jones’ made it to the Worlds roster with an impeccable score

In September, she participated in the U.S. women’s selection camp for the 2023 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships and the 2023 Pan American Artistic Gymnastics Championships. Shilese Jones took all the brownie points when she performed her magic on the beam in Katy, Texas and clinched the score of 14.150. Following this, she continued her spree and took 13.500 in uneven bars, and 14.150 in vault.

On the other hand, Simone Biles, regardless of two falls (uneven bars and vault), she secured victory with an all-around score of 55.700 on her first day and earned an automatic spot on the U.S. Gymnastics World Championship team.

Interestingly, asserting a staunch competition to Biles, the 21-year-old Jones delivered a superb performance, scoring 55.300, close 2nd to Simone Biles. The competition ahead promises to be fierce, with another rising star, Skye Blakely. She has been very near to Jones with a score of 55.000.

As the World Artistic Gymnastics approaches, the world awaits another incredible performance from Shilese Jones.
