Despite a general air of happiness and celebration, Simone Biles‘ family has been witnessing an unfortunate situation. Ron Biles Jr., the gymnast’s elder brother, was recently admitted to the hospital for a life-altering surgery. And the family sought prayers for him on social media.

In a detailed Instagram post, Ron explained his condition and the reason for his surgery. Having had long-term issues with his hips, the gymnast’s brother had already undergone a hip replacement a few years back. And now, in light of his recent situation, fans flooded the comments section with an outpouring of support.

Simone Biles’ family wished for Ron’s speedy recovery

Both Ron and his wife Sammi Biles announced his recent surgery on their respective social media accounts. The father of one was suffering from a condition called Avascular Necrosis, which kills parts of his femur bone. Due to this, he needed a complete replacement of his left hip about two years ago while his right hip battled to survive.

This surgery wasn’t a replacement, fortunately. In fact, it was to prevent or delay the possibility of a complete right hip replacement. The ‘Core Decompress’, according to Ron, will help his condition get better. And before he went under the knife, he requested fans and followers to pray for him and his family.

An outpouring of love and support immediately came in with fans commenting good wishes for Ron. Comments like,?“stay strong bro”,?“Praying for a speedy recovery!”, and?“Praying Ron!! Y’all are strong STRONG…but we got you!” brought hope. Along with this, comments like, “I’m glad to hear you don’t have to do the whole replacement You got this” and?“I?m sending virtual hugs!!! Take care bro! You have a great support group!” showed how much fans cared. While Ron and Sammi navigate through troubled times, the Biles family came together to take care of other affairs.

Simone and Adria’s love for Ron’s daughter is not unknown among fans. Ever since Ronni Biles was born, both sisters have been actively involved in taking care of her while promising to spoil her with gifts and more. With Ron now in the hospital, his wife Sammi shared something heartwarming about her in-laws’ support.

It turns out that while Sammi took care of her husband and needed a moment to breathe, Nellie, Adria, and the rest of the Biles family came to her rescue. She was grateful for how they took care of her baby when she needed a break. And that’s why family is always important for the Biles.
