Simone Biles is one of the most acclaimed gymnasts ever. The five-time Olympic gold medallist decorates herself with the beaming personality that makes her stand out. She never failed to acknowledge her family’s support in becoming one of the world’s best. Among her three siblings, Adria Biles, her look-alike, is her favorite. They both were artistic gymnasts but Adria quit the sport in 2016.

The Biles sisters share a great connection. Adria is the younger but the taller one. Well, that doesn’t help people from not getting confused between the two. Although Adria did quit gymnastics because of Simone’s overshadowing presence in the sport, it is quite disheartening to know that Adria regrets her decision. Also, Adria opens up about her decision in an Ask Me Anything session on her Instagram handle.

Simone Biles feels helpless for Adria

Simone started training in gymnastics and Adria followed after a few years. To compete in the junior elite competitions, they required a level 10 and Adria was a level 9. No wonder, she has regrets about her decision of quitting.

Biles said in a video interview that Adria withdrew because of pressure. People did not always compare them both because one was better than the other, but because both were winning competitions. Avid Simone fans apparently didn’t like this.

About this, Simone said, “And then people thought that wasn’t fair, and she was just tired of people talking about it.”

She added that whenever Adria went to competitions and won, people commented, “’Oh, her sister always wins, she always wins, that’s not fair.’ So she quitRecently, in an Ask Me Anything segment on Adria’s Instagram handle, a question was asked. “Do you have any regrets stopping gymnastics?” She replied, “I do.”

Adria Biles is a person of self-respect and strives for individuality. She continued her response to the question saying, “I do but I coach now and I love it. Y’all think I should try basketball,” with a laughing emoji.

One can imagine the extent of the mental tussle she went through. As sisters and good friends, Simone and Adria always wish the best for each other. However, destiny had some other plans for them.
