In her recent Snapchat update, Olympian gold medalist gymnast Simone Biles revealed a green laser light was once pointed at her car. While watching a news broadcast that covered a similar story, Biles was reminded of the incident that occurred with her sometime back.

For the unversed, the otherwise harmless light can be very harmful when flashed directly on a person. The monochromatic light emitted by the laser has a blinding effect on the person it’s directed on. This could lead to severe accidents while flashed on the road. Biles recently gave an account of how she nearly had an accident because of green laser lights.
