For Olivia Dunne, nothing can be more beautiful than to watch the opponents tasting dust in front of her teammates. So when Kiya Johnson was crafting her parable against the Kentucky Wildcats this year, the social media heartthrob joined her in celebration. However, Olivia Dunne wasn’t present in that SEC opening match. But in her IG story, the 21-year-old gymnast cultivated her love for the mate by penning down, “She is her”. The elation reached high as that match turned out to be Johnson’s comeback match after her injury. But not just Olivia Dunne, K. J. Johnson, reveled in her prowess to make that night most beautiful for the junior.

In the vault, she registered 9.850. That eventually led to the team’s victory. So, on that day, Johnson gave a hint of what was coming this season from her. Meanwhile, Friday night panned out to be a similar affair in that line.

Evading an injury scare, K. J. Johnson continued her roar in the gymnastics meet in Baton Rouge once again. After humbling Kentucky, she started on the same note on Saturday. This time, the opponent was the previously scorched Arkansas Razorback. All Johnson could do was a perfect landing on the vault as in the opposition Cally Swaney roused many more chances previously. But for the LSU junior, it needed her own form to be continued. And that happened on Friday evening once again. In further detailing, LSU Gymnastics’ X-handle could add up, “KJ. JOHNSON. STUCK. The junior starts us off with a 9.875”

However, Arkansas’ best reply to that flying score was 9.725. Eventually, that came from Cally Swaney. Previously, Haleigh Bryant from LSU took the major role in attaining high scores in the vault. Her rank in the vault after the fourth week also said the same. But for K. J., nothing seems to be tough this season. Against Kentucky, the junior performed all four events. The average remained at 9.8+. Meanwhile, on Olivia Dunne’s comeback night, the vault announced its witness of Johnson’s performance once again.

The perfect cooperation from the teammates

After K. J. Johnson’s high opening, Amari Drayton and Kiya Johnson started the same music. Both scored 9.900 in the vault. However, the vault phenom Haleigh Bryant extended the Razorbacks’ pain by 9.975 later. From Arkansas, the better reply came from only Frankie Price and Lauren Williams. Both of them scored 9.875 in front of the host in the evening. But that was way behind.

Olivia Dunne didn’t try her vault footing. However, that couldn’t hinder the LSU Tigers’ gigantic score from taking place. As of now, the LSU pack is standing at 198.475. On the other hand, the Razorbacks are at 196.200. The leaderboard has only the names of the LSU gymnasts as the top scorer.
