Allies are built, and fortunes are made in the realm of social media and entrepreneurship. LSU sensation Olivia Dunne recently made waves when she signed a multi-million dollar contract with Passes, a platform that links creators with their audience and empowers them. Olivia Dunne shared the news on Instagram followed by a picture and wrote in the caption, “The wait is over… link in bio to my Passes account for more of me and bts of my life!”. Interestingly. this unites her with her fellow gymnast Elena Arenas on the platform.
Dunne, a current member of the LSU Tigers women’s gymnastics squad, has over 10 million social media followers. Her NIL has brought in seven figures in sponsorship deals. On the other hand, Arenas participated in the 2014 and 2015 Elite seasons after earning a spot in the Junior International Elite in 2014. She is a member of the LSU women’s gymnastics team and is a senior right now. While Dunne has amassed 5 million followers on Instagram alone, Arenas trails behind with 191 thousand followers.

together on the mats and off it
Elena Arenas last year signed a NIL partnership with Leaf Trading Cards and launched her first-ever trading card, as part of the brand’s Pop Century Influencer collection. The card autographed by Arenas was sold for $19.99. “Having my first trading card has been a dream come true, I feel very blessed to be in a position where I have my own trading card and I hope they become more common in the sport of gymnastics. I am so thankful for the opportunity and to everyone who helped me get to this point,” Arenas had shared with Sports Illustrated back then. CJ Breen, Leaf’s Director Of Marketing and Licensing had also described her as “one of the most impactful gymnasts in the NCAA.” Interestingly there also Olivia-Elena connection was present.
Olivia Dunne had signed a NIL with Leaf in 2022. In 2023, she added one more page to that. Last year, Leaf launched a full collection of Dunne-signed memorabilia, including her first on-card autographed trading cards, photos, an already sold-out LSU leotard, mini football helmets, football jerseys, and other items. beyond the NIL arena, the two gymnasts have often been spotted hanging out together.

Last year in June, Livvy shared a stunning mirror selfie following her night out at the ballpark. LSU Tigers secured a 5-0 victory over the Tennessee Volunteers on that occasion. Arenas also joined in Livvy in that outing. They rocked together once again earlier this year.
Dunne and Arenas recreated a popular TikTok dance under the snow in Park City, Utah. Livvy started the video pumping her arms and singing witho Tokyo Vanity’s “That’s My Best Friend,” before showing off some crazy moves. Arenas then repeated the moves and chimed in with some of her versions. It remains to be seen where else the duo takes their partnership beyond the gymnastics arena.
