Olivia Dunne is feeling the pangs of being famous. With one of the biggest reputations as a star gymnast, the LSU heartthrob is a big deal in the NCAA at the moment. With her NIL earnings and her popularity both soaring, Dunne is looking to further expand her horizons and attain the elite pedestal. Unfortunately, all that glitters is not gold. And on the flip side of the coin, lies a sad reality for Livvy Dunne. Her immense popularity has deteriorated her ability to lead a normal life. In fact, things have been so bad that Dunne refrains from attending in-person classes at LSU.
In a recent revelation on the Amazon Prime documentary, ‘The Money Game’, Dunne opened up about her mode of study at LSU. As per it, Dunne has shifted to online classes right from her sophomore year. While this was a known fact, Dunne has been repeatedly criticized for not attending college. She has been accused of making it a “great deal” and giving too much importance to herself. But as it seems, things are easy to judge from the outside. As the LSU heartthrob spilled the beans on the real reason, a horrible backstory came to the forefront.
Olivia Dunne talked about receiving death threats on her way back from her college. The NCAA champion recalled, “I do like coming over here… One time I was at class, and I never really checked my messages, but this day on Instagram I checked my DMs. And I remember seeing a DM that said, ‘You’re not going to make it back to your dorm tonight.’” And if this was not reason enough, there were subsequent details of how her teammates would suffer a terrible fate because of her in their next meet. And these comments continued. Thus, despite enjoying her in-person experience, Dunne had no choice but to request online classes which the LSU authorities obliged immediately.

Even Olivia Dunne’s coach, Jay Clark, feels the same way about her safety. Talking about the first time they crossed paths, Clark mentioned that he knew things would not be easy. Well, Olivia has 8.1 million followers on TikTok and 5.3 million on Instagram, so he expected things would get crazy pretty fast. Thus, speaking on ‘The Money Game’, Clark pointed out that he plays the role of both a coach and a security guard when going out with Livvy Dunne. And while this was not enough, Dunne also faced struggles doing her training at the gym.
