On Martin Luther King Jr. Day at college, the usual reprieve from classes extends to a break from homework, making it an ideal day to stay indoors, especially with the dropping temperatures. However, LSU star Olivia Dunne and her minions seized the opportunity differently. In a Snapchat story, Dunne shared that she and her fellow LSU compatriots embarked on a morning project to repaint not only the basketball court but also the surrounding area with uplifting musings. Braving the chilly weather, they added tape to enhance the aesthetics, with credit given to LSU gymnast Annie Beard for the creative touch. Dunne captioned the effort as “hard at work.

In the subsequent story, Dunne featured her friend Elena Arenas, who joined the project. Elena was captured painting the surroundings in vibrant yellow near the basketball court, contributing to the visual and philanthropic catharsis.
