After a competitive first round in NCAA gymnastics, now the time has shifted toward presenting the route to the ultimate national crown. In that way, the NCAA Regional second round makes the initial path. For Olivia Dunne and the LSU Tigers, this is going to be their 39th straight berth in the NCAA postseason. Keeping the records straight, Olivia’s phenomenal program has already had 14 NCAA Regional Championships.

Before stepping up into the ultimate battle, Olivia Dunne has received a special message. It came from her mother. Nonetheless, the message was gripping enough to hold everyone in awe. 

In a recent share of Snapchat stories, Olivia Dunne paid tribute to all those merry faces who wished them luck in the way of Fayetteville. The 21-year-old gymnast is paired with bunches of Tiger ladies and nobody could hold their joy after receiving such a message. The visual flaunted a squad of LSU Tigers supporters, waving the purple flag.

Meanwhile, doubling the cheering, the squad held Olivia Dunne’s mother, Katherine Dunne. So, before stepping into Bud Walton Arena, the cheered daughter could get motivation from that happy sight. She displayed her emotion by captioning the post as, “So much love!”

In subsequent snaps, the Tigers’ ingenue showed her avatars with the compatriots in purple leotards. Moreover, in all of those snaps, the second-seeded team seemed in the perfect mood to flout the gymnastic challenges coming ahead. Notably, Kathrine has been steady in her roles as she did previously, cheering her daughter on the brink of daunting obstacles. In the past, the “Queen” mother acknowledged not only Livvy’s performance but also the LSU Tigers. 

The mother keeps a tab on everything 

The second-seeded gymnastics bunch received its call-up to the NCAA Regional 2nd round after keeping a high NQS (Net Qualifying Score) throughout the season. However, mom Kathrine Dunne couldn’t keep her eyes off the consistent development in that score.

So when the Baton Rouge team reached the pinnacle of success in NQS, Olivia Dunne’s mother cheered the achievement by sharing the note on her IG story in March. Moreover, while the former national champion gymnast is steadily toward her program retirement, her mother tried her best to keep her attached to the moment. 

In October last year, Katherine shared Livvy’s avatar, adorned with a jubilant crown dressed in the purple leotard. The IG post’s caption, “All eyes on the Tigers” showcased the mindset of the squad before jumping onto the route. Now, once again, Livvy’s mother kept her supporting stuff in the fore.
