What a whirlwind year it’s been for the LSU Gymnastics team! They made history by claiming their first-ever national title at the 2024 NCAA gymnastics championships. The squad, led by the brilliant Haleigh Bryant, who took the individual all-around crown, and Olivia Dunne being a part of it, sealed the deal with Aleah Finnegan’s flawless beam routine, clinching their victory in Fort Worth, Texas. LSU beat out Florida, Utah, and California for the prestigious title.

Since then, the team’s been soaking up some well-deserved relaxation on a retreat in Gulf Shores, Alabama, while also putting in the work at the gym, and gearing up for the upcoming season. Now, Olivia Dunne is celebrating ‘Ring Season’ as she gets ready to be a Tiger for her fifth year.

Even though Dunne didn’t perform in the finals, she still crushed it earlier in the season. She rocked eight floor routines, hitting her career-high of 9.9 not once, but twice! Talk about showing up! And wait, there’s more—she also competed on the uneven bars, even taking part in the SEC Championships, where LSU snagged the team title.

The LSU Tigresses recently received their championship rings, and oh boy, Olivia Dunne wasted no time sharing the excitement! She jumped on Instagram Stories, flashing her shiny new bling and captioning it “Ring Szn” while showing off those sparkly rings in celebration. And that’s not all.

She posted another story, giving fans a close-up look at her ring. On one side, it had her name, ‘Dunne’, proudly engraved, the other side had the Tigers logo, and the front read “LSU 2024 Champions”. Talk about a serious flex! They’ve officially put a ring on it, but this isn’t the end for Olivia and her teammates! With their sights set on what’s next, they’re already prepping to bring even more heat to the mat.

With a playful twist, she captioned her post, “not Dunne yet.” Looking back on her decision to come back, Livvy shared, “This past year I found a renewed love of the sport. I had trained a lot in the off season, so I felt really strong and healthy from the start and ready to contribute.” She indeed is an example of a passionate comeback!

It’s shaping up to be a journey to remember!
