Jordan Chiles‘ 2024 Paris Olympics experience had the perfect blend of sugar and spice. The ‘Golden Girls’ got to dominate on the floor mat and triumphantly end their ‘Redemption Tour’ in the French capital. The 23-year-old turned heads with her impeccable routines during the individual event as well. However, drama seemed to be hot on her heels. But she does have a few moments she will cherish for quite some time. 

Labeling herself as an outgoing individual, the Olympic team’s all-around gold medalist had a gala time during her stay at the Olympic Village. The gymnast often spent most of her time in the apartment with her best friend, Simone Biles. But a few moments stood out for her. On a September 4 episode of ‘Chicks in the Office’, she recalls one such moment with a certain NBA star. Co-host Francesca Mariano asked her if there was anybody from the other competitive sports that she met or hung out with. 

Jordan Chiles chuckled before exclaiming, “Meeting Steph Curry, for some reason, in that moment, I was actually fine. I thought it was going to be fangirling, but I met him, and I was like, ‘Oh my gosh.'” The gymnast has always wanted to meet him. The Olympian was even present during the individual all-around finals at the Bercy Arena. The NBA star was taken aback by Suni Lee and Simone Biles’ performances. But it’s safe to say he’s a huge fan of the 23-year-old too. 

Speaking of their meeting, she recalled, “He was like, he actually asked me for a photo, and I was like, ‘Wow, wait a minute, like that’s not right!'” Co-host Maria Ciuffo remarked how enchanting it was to watch other athletes fangirl over the gymnast. “I think it’s hilarious,” the 23-year-old stated. Even though Chiles didn’t exactly get to live her fangirl moment, her compatriot Simone Biles was left star struck by a certain track and field legend. 

The G.O.A.T. always makes people stop and turn wherever she goes. But it was now her turn when she came across Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce at the Olympic Village! When the duo decided to step out of their apartment one fine day, Jordan Chiles happened to spot the Jamaican sprinter. She immediately let the Olympian know, who stopped in her tracks. “I’ve never seen Simone (Biles) get, so like, Whoa!” Chiles confessed.

Jordan Chiles’ adventure in the Big Apple

The gymnast has always been ‘THAT girl,’ and fashion has always been something she’s found a way to incorporate into her routines. “I had to be able to figure out how to embrace myself and my beauty,” she told Harper’s Bazaar. It has always helped her express herself. But after noticing the iconic Flo Jo’s fashionable choices on the track, she realized she wanted to put her best foot forward on the mat. However, she has come a long way from her ‘Beyoncé-inspired’ leotard. 

Jordan Chiles was at the New York Fashion Week. But she wasn’t just a spectator. She got to make her runway debut! The gymnast closed out the Kim Shui Spring 2025 Show wearing a silver leotard-esque outfit. The gymnast swapped heels for a striking pair of sneakers, serving face on the ramp! The fit was more avant-garde than her usual style. But the 23-year-old seemed in her element, and we can’t get enough! She has shaken off all her woes and appears to have risen like a phoenix.
