It is no news that Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens have been each other’s biggest supporters. Be it through career adversities or the challenges off the court, the celebrated athletic couple has ensured to stand for each other visibly well. This time around, with Owens’ recent interview on his career out for the spectators, the pattern proved no different.
The Green Bay Packers safety recently stood to receive a rather light-hearted, compelling recognition, as he arrived on Green Bay’s Boys & Girls Club’s podcast. Simone Biles, proud and elated, chimed in to let the world know of her love. However, while cheering her man, she also could not help but marvel at a 9-year-old’s expertise to bring out words from a star.
Simone Biles extends support to Owens and beyond

The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Green Bay recently had its team of little kids interview their NFL home team’s safety. “Opportunities and dreams do come true,” the club’s social media post wrote as little Beckett interviewed Owens on his career, inspiration, and everything football. Simone Biles, who caught up on the little interaction couldn’t help but urge her followers to give the adorable video a shot. “Stop!!! Please watch this interview Jonathan did with Beckett!!!! You won’t regret it,” she wrote on her Instagram stories.

Simone Biles also further applauded the little interviewer, saying, “So knowledgeable about the Packers and Jonathan’s career…he killed it.” In the interview, 9-year-old Beckett starts with Jonathan Owens’ inspiration for the domain he walks to maneuver through the NFL star’s career, community engagement, Owens foundation, and some quirky puns on NFL and otherwise. “What a great interview man,” Owens writes as the video makes it to Instagram, all with the efforts, inclusive of scripting and editing of the little kids at the club.

While the interaction was a rare, adorable witness, it wasn’t the first time Simone Biles’ beau got together with the Green Bay Boys & Girls Club. The last the two parties met, it was the little kids on the receiving end of the Packers’ safety’s generosity.
Owens and his lending hand
Jonathan Owens introduced his foundation years ago in the hopes of helping families and giving back to society. “It feels good for a moment that I was fortunate enough to put it together and see the kids’ faces and help families,” Owens says in a recent interview. With a similar intention, Owens last met Beckett and the Green Bay Boys & Girls Club when he hosted the foundation’s second annual Turkey Giveaway.

“Feels amazing being able to bless families and provide lifelong memories for the kids,” he had written announcing the news in November last year. Reflecting on the difficult path they walked, Owens and Simone Biles have both often risen to give back and help offer better situations. Owens through his foundation and Biles through Friends of the Children, the two have led by goodness.
