Simone Biles’ performance at the Paris Olympics 2024 wasn’t just a triumph; it was a tour de force that even NFL stars Jason and Travis Kelce couldn’t help but gush over. On the latest episode of the ‘New Heights’ podcast, the Kelce brothers took a deep dive into their Olympic takeaways, and Biles was front and center.
Jason Kelce, who was right there at the Bercy Arena to catch the action live, kicked off the podcast with a hint of doubt, admitting he wasn’t sure how Biles would perform at 27. “If you go look at like the age of gymnast they’re usually not in their mid 20s to late 20s they’re usually young like they don’t they usually don’t age in sustain well later,” he said. Jason’s hesitation wasn’t unfounded—gymnasts usually hit their peak in their early twenties and then start winding down.
The tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, Travis Kelce, was quick to defend Biles, saying, “I don’t know why I just I automatically assumed she was the anomaly.” His older brother Jason quickly agreed, “Well, you would be right. She is the anomaly because she jumped higher than everybody and it wasn’t even close.” Jason was utterly mesmerized watching Biles, who had to go last under immense pressure. “Within the first three seconds, you’re like “oh that’s different” she just jumped 5 feet higher than everybody else.”

Even Travis Kelce, who’s usually more focused on football than gymnastics, couldn’t hide his admiration. “So good man yeah that us such a feelgood story uh knowing the past and everything that she’s had to go through and just to feel confident and getting back up there mentally it’s the best man so happy for her and America’s so proud of her man,” he shared.
With a stunning comeback from a less-than-stellar Tokyo, Biles proved she’s not just any gymnast—she’s the queen. Clenching three golds and a silver, Simone Biles’ Paris Olympics performance was nothing short of a masterpiece. And if Jason and Travis Kelce are any indication, America’s pride and joy have truly reclaimed her crown!

Simone Biles brought her A-game from the get-go and took Paris by storm!
Simone Biles looked in ominous touch right from the moment she appeared in the 2023 Worlds. Clinching the all-around gold, Biles gave a warning to all her competitors for the Paris Olympics. While her victory juggernaut continued, many wondered if Biles could maintain the same level of intensity under the pressuring conditions of Paris. Well, they had their first answer in the Team all-around final.
With Team USA hoping to secure the gold medal, it was Simone Biles on the floor who sealed the deal for America, notching up 14.600. Next up, she was up for individual glory. However, following dismal, uneven bars, the gold medal seemed to be slipping from her hands, with arch-rival Rebeca Andrade building her lead. Once again, her floor routine made all the difference as Simone Biles scored 59.131, outclassing Andrade (57.932) by a mile.
Biles again showed her class on the individual vault final as she averaged 15.300 with a couple of picture-perfect vaults to claim her third gold medal. Thus, with her redemption completed grandly, Simone Biles will continue her journey as a gymnastics legend while the world will marvel at her in awe.
