Could the Fourth of July have been any better for Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens? Fresh off of securing her ticket to the Paris Olympics just a few days prior, Biles got a gift to go with it. As for Owens, not only did he witness his wife make more history at Target Center, but he’s also set to fly with her to the City of Love, courtesy of a special exemption from the Chicago Bears training camp. It’s safe to say the mood in the Biles-Owens household is pretty good right now, as was evident from their Fourth of July update!
Flaunting her riches may not be Simone Biles’ style, but every now and then, fans get snippets of it. From her and Jonathan Owens’ beautiful wedding to the glimpses of their chic home, their aesthetic is undeniably sophisticated. And the Chicago Bears safety’s Instagram update was just that: a dazzling display of luxury and affection. But what turned heads was their opulent accessories. One standout piece, though, was Jonathan’s watch.
It seems the power couple has a thing for watches. While Biles didn’t sport her newest present in the photo shoot, Jonathan Owens showed off Rolex Datejust in Oyster Steel and Everose gold, valued at around $20,000. That’s not to say the most decorated gymnast didn’t flaunt her own accessories. The pair wore matching emblazoned with “Team USA” and accessorized them with eye-catching diamonds.

They wore their wedding rings along with diamond earrings and chains, with Simone even sporting her “OWENS” pendant. Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens collectively showcased over $300,000 worth of sparkling diamonds, underscoring their status as one of the sports world’s most stylish and captivating pairs. Sharing three pictures from the classy photo shoot, Owens wrote, “No, we ain’t perfect, but we damn close ♥️🤍💙”

Evidently, Jonathan Owens enjoys the finer things in life. Reportedly, he spent $300,000 on their wedding rings. They even got matching grillz during their wedding. Additionally, earlier in January, when he played for the Green Bay Packers, he bought Simone a diamond necklace with a “J” on it. The gifts don’t stop there, though. Owens bought Simone something truly special after she qualified for the Olympics.
In June this year, Biles posted an Instagram story about the Audemars Piguet Mini Royal Oak watch in three colors: rose gold, silver, and frosted white gold. She captioned it, “If any jeweler has one of these in stock for purchase, specifically the frosted white gold,” and asked them to message her directly. But after Biles placed first in the all-around competition at the Olympic Trials with a score of 117.225, she posted a picture of a dazzling Audemars Piguet Royal Oak watch encrusted with diamonds. She captioned it, “baby,” suggesting that Owens was the one who gifted it to her.

Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens are more about genuine moments than material things
Simone Biles has been vocal about a fear of hers: “I have a fear of going broke.” While she may not need to worry about that – courtesy of all her earnings due to being one of the most widely known athletes in the world – it doesn’t mean she doesn’t. Considering her financial struggles as a child, Biles learned to handle her expenses right from her first paycheck. She got that when she was just 12.
Fast forward to the present day, when she’s 27 with an estimated net worth of $16 million, this aspect of her life hasn’t changed. Simone Biles has stated that she likes to measure her expenses and avoid spending unnecessarily. “I never really swipe the [credit] card. I will only splurge if I earned it.” Even during her wedding, Biles made some economical choices. She wore a $120 gown bought online from a boutique called Selfie Leslie and $35 shoes.
As for her other half, when the couple appeared on The Pivot Podcast, Owens opened up about how being an NFL player doesn’t necessarily mean he’s a multi-millionaire. He also emphasized how his mother and wife keep him from making bad financial decisions. He recalled an incident where “just the other day, [Biles said], ‘No, you’re not getting – they’re not getting that for Christmas. I don’t care what you say.” That said, Owens – with a net worth of $7 million – has his priorities straight as he gifts Simone Biles things on her wishlist.
