While the preparations are in full flow for the 2024 Paris Olympics, the gymnastics queen Simone Biles is making headlines, but more so, she has taken the football limelight as well. Husband Jonathan Owens is bossing the NFL competition with his team Green Bay Packers, and Biles is always there to back him even further. But before their destination wedding in California, the Olympic gymnast admits facing a disaster.

Earlier in 2023, Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens tied the forever-long knot in a Texas Courthouse. However, it was an unplanned one, which led to a lot of stress in their lives, but one they will hold dear.

Simone Biles escapes disaster during civil court wedding

Reflecting on some memorable and life-changing moments from her life, Simone Biles revealed her hectic schedule while the power couple decided to have a court marriage in Texas before the destination wedding with family. Speaking with Daily Motion, Biles recalled the days of her court marriage. “We were here in Houston. I believe the courthouse is called 1919 Courthouse but it’s absolutely beautiful”, she expressed. Revealing the reason for their court marriage, Biles added, “We figured since we had to get married before our ceremony in Cabo, that we would do it here.” Although the duo had planned the wedding, it nonetheless turned out to be an unplanned one.

“We were so focused on the Cabo wedding that by the time this came around that week, we were like, ‘Oh my gosh. We don’t even have outfits, rings, nothing”, she added. The Olympic Champion later revealed that they got the wedding necessities only a couple of days before, but it was also a struggle. “I actually had to, like, hunt down the post guy because we missed the delivery window“, she admitted. However, it was only because of her training that she missed the delivery, and later got the parcel in a parking lot. Meanwhile, Owens is ready to lock horns with the Cowboys today, and wifey is gathering support for the 26-year-old.

Biles gathers an unconventional crowd to cheer Jonathan Owens

Owens’ Green Bay Packers will be locking horns against the Dallas Cowboys today in the NFL Wild Card Round. While the Cowboys are ranked first in the NFC East table, the Packers are 2nd in the NFC North but they have an advantage this time. Simone Biles will surely be cheering the Packers quarterback, but she will be accompanied by the couple’s 3 pets as well this time.

In a latest Instagram story, Biles shared an adorable picture of the two doggies out of 3. Announcing their support for Owens, she captioned, “The dogs are ready for this weekend”. Despite the long distance, the power couple continues to show unprecedented support for each other.
