USA’s star gymnast?Simone Biles?has joined thousands of others to pray for Damar Hamlin. During the?Buffalo Bills‘ latest game against the Cincinnati Bengals, Hamlin fell to the ground after colliding with an opposition player. Several reports suggest that the NFL player is in a serious condition.

Hence, several fans and athletes have posted their prayers for the footballer to offer their support for Hamlin’s speedy recovery. Biles, who is an adamant follower of the sport, has also made a request to her followers via her Instagram story.

Simone Biles prays and requests others to pray for Hamlin

The shocked and worried shots of people and players from the live coverage of the game have spread like wildfire across social media. Damar Hamlin’s tragic on-field accident has saddened the entire sports community.

In her recent Instagram story, the legendary gymnast added a post praying for the young athlete. This post from Women of the NFL read,?“Please stop what you are doing and say a prayer for Damar Hamlin”.?Biles also added a “praying emoji” to her story, denoting she is praying for Hamlin’s safe recovery.

Apart from Biles, athletes from several other sports, like LeBron James, have also joined in praying for the young NFL player.

Biles has also asked her followers to send in their prayers for Hamlin’s safe recovery.?

How did Damar Hamlin end up in such a horrific situation?

During the first quarter of the recent Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals match, Bills’ safety player Hamlin was tackling Bengals’, Tee Higgins. However, Higgins’s helmet accidentally hit Hamlin in the chest, and he fell to the ground. Although initially, the footballer got back up after taking the hit, he soon collapsed back on the ground.

According to the ESPN broadcast, Hamlin received CPR from the on-field medical officials for more than 10 minutes. However, even after 30 minutes of on-field medical treatment, Hamlin’s condition did not improve. Hence, he was immediately rushed to a nearby University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
