After concluding the season finale against the San Francisco 49ers, the GBP regular is spending home time. On the other hand, Simone Biles is in a stringent training session, away from her husband. But JO didn’t let the loneliness devour his exercise schedule, just like Simone Biles does. On February 6, the 28-year-old NFL player shared a snippet of his exercise module. In the visual, he was taking good care of his toe using special equipment. “Nothing like a late night recovery/maintenance session with my @spacermobility equipment. Moreover, in the posted snippet, JO was wearing the special band, Toe Spacers, to keep his toes adjusted. For a player belonging to a physically heavy sport, that exercise regime seemed quite usual. Having said that, the vibrating footplate seen in the same video was meant to help in regaining body balance and stability on the foot. In the past, Jonathan Owens had an issue with his ligament when he was in his high school days.

The improvement from a problematic foot
In the Pivot podcast, broadcasted in December last year, Jonathan Owens divulged a deep-rooted issue with his legs. Because of a humble beginning, Simone Biles’s husband didn’t have much idea about foot exercises. So when he was a senior at his high school, JO had to do weight training to improve his jump. However, in that drill, he had to wear ankle weights. Meanwhile, that continuous burden had ruptured his ligaments, causing an ACL fracture.
