Olivia Dunne is going gaga over the chemistry between Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens. Biles, who has established herself as the GOAT of modern-day gymnastics, has made ripples with her real-life commitments towards her NFL husband. After Biles’ historic comeback in Paris, Owens has also tried to match his wife, notching up a stellar show on his NFL debut. This has led to a lot of fans terming the duo as the number-one power couple in the sporting realm at the moment. And surprisingly, Oliva Dunne is one of them. 

Appearing on the ‘Best of Both Worlds’ podcast with Flau’Jae, Dunne explored the realms of successful power couples in sports. While the LSU superstar named the likes of Patrick and Brittany Mahomes, as some of her favorites, she chose Jonathan Owens and Simone Biles as one of her most favorite power couples. Reflecting on the same, Dunne opined, “But if it comes to a power couple, I got to go with Simone and Mr. Biles.” However, being an ardent Taylor Swift fan, Livvy Dunne voted Swift and Travis Kelce’s ratio as the best amidst all the lovebirds taking centerstage in sports.

Well, this is not the first time Olivia Dunne has talked about Simone Biles. Before the Paris Olympics, Dunne appeared at the ESPY Awards where she brought up the Simone Biles topic. Conversing with Sports Illustrated, the LSU sensation termed Biles as a GOAT. After the gymnast’s saddening fate in Tokyo, Dunne foreshadowed that Paris would be kind of like Biles’ ‘revenge tour’. Dunne also did not want to lay too much stress on the Tokyo fiasco, calling it a ‘freak’ accident. In what was a happy coincidence, Biles did have a phenomenal Paris Olympics as she went on to win 4 medals. Now, coming back to Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens, there is a reason for Livvy Dunne to fangirl over their ratio.

Biles and Owens have been a constant support for each other. In a recent controversy, Owens commented that he was the ‘prize’ in their relationship. Such a statement apparently did not sit well with the fans as they started bashing Owens vehemently. With the situation getting out of control, Biles stepped in to silence the haters citing that Owens made the statement in good humor. 

Similarly, Biles also travels the distance to catch Owens weaving his magic on the NFL pitch. As for Jonathan Owens, he was one of the mainstays for Biles when she dealt with trauma and depression after the Tokyo Olympics. Even after her comeback, Owens did not miss a Simone Biles event. 

In fact, signing a new contract with the Chicago Bears, Owens used a hilarious trick to sanction 5 days of leave to watch her wife take the glory in Paris. He even took notes and kept a tally of the scores while sitting in the audience with a pen and paper. Thus, with so much going on between the two, it is really hard not to adore their ratio.
