In an Instagram video shared by Pittsburgh’s official page, Copperwheat introduces herself and describes the first step on how to do a side aerial. She explained how to do a decent cartwheel and land gracefully upright post the wheel. She emphasized that a side aerial is also similar to doing that on the beam but without side hands. She defines her two cues that could define her game better. She says: “My two cues are to go long and fix my arms at the end.”

Keeping her eyes glued to the beam her whole time, she exemplified her perfect side aerial which could score a perfect 10 doing the competitive sport display. Hallie Copperwheat, at the end of the video remarks to be positioned correctly as the beam is just 10cm wide, and during the real display, the pressure builds in quite well, to let go of the stability and flexibility. Foreseeing the upcoming match on the floor this season, she ends by saying, “We can’t wait to see you next week at the Field House.”
