Coming up after a recent loss against No. 1 Oklahoma State by 198.350-197.275, Arkansas Razorbacks entered Bud Walton Arena to compete against the Nebraska gymnastics team. Along the same lines, Arkansas, fueled by this recent loss, decided to showcase prowess on the gymnastics mat to end its regular season.

Keeping up with the expectations, Arkansas cemented their stature yet again after a pretty consecutively major winning streak this past eventful season. To share this ecstatic news among the spectators, the Planet of Gymnastics took to their official instagram account and posted a glimpse of an enthralling showdown against Nebraska. Alongside the video clip, they penned, “RECORD. BREAKING. SEASON. Congrats to all on your NEW highest score in SCHOOL HISTORY @razorbackgym.

Arkansas, with this triumphant victory, clinched a new program record for the third time in the 2024 gymnastics season. Not only this, but the team also secured the victory by nearly half a point en route to achieving a stepping stone to success. Interestingly, the Razorbacks are amongst the top 12 teams to score more than 198+ points this season.

The major appreciation is for the team’s incredible roster, which swept the titles on the night. While Hailey Klein roared with 9.975s on vault, Maddie Jones and Reese Drotar secured equivalent scores in bars and floors, respectively, to keep up with the legacy of the team. Consequently, Arkansas marked the best ever vault by a freshman with Klein’s astonishing performance. However, credits are not only grabbed by the team’s roster. An able-bodied hand from the Fierce Five ilk gets credits too.
