However, as she appeared in the Olympics, she understood her worth. Meanwhile, in 2017, there was a time when her phone flooded with millions of comments regarding her height. It happened because of her picture with a tall NBA legend.

As Simone shared her picture with NBA player Shaquille O’Neal, fans poured their love into her comment section. Meanwhile, several made different jokes about her height. There was a fan who compared Shaq’s hand with her face. “Girl his hand is the size of your face.”

Similarly, one user also wrote, “She is size of his one leg.” Another wrote, “Shaq is big tallest than you shortest tall!” One user joked about John Cena and said, “Somebody asks John Cena if he can see her.” While one wrote, “Girl, you have to look 1,000 miles up.” Some other people also stated, “He can put her in the basket.” Notably, in the picture, everyone can see the height difference between a 4’8″ tall Biles and a 7’0″ tall Shaq.

On the other hand, someone saw heels. “Plus she’s in heels holy sh**.” However, there was one worthy comment: “Proof that talent knows no bounds and that size really *doesn’t* matter.”

Simone faking her height

There was a time when the legendary gymnast had to lie about her height. She described the details of the incident in her book ‘Courage to Soar: A Body in Motion, A Life in Balance.’ Simone stated that she looked small for the age group of fourteen years old. She wrote, “At the time, I was fourteen and small for my age. A four-feet-eight-inch ball of nonstop energy, I liked to say I was four feet nine just so I could feel taller.”

Further, she penned, “But I was also strong. I’d been born with the kind of biceps and muscled calves that, back in third grade, had earned me the nickname swoldger-a cross between swollen and soldier.” However, as the four-time Olympic gold medalist proceeded further in life, she penned her legacy, forgetting all the worries regarding her height.
