How did Jade Carey overcome setbacks in her gymnastics career to earn another visit to the Swiss Cup and restore her form? After the 2023 NCAA season, Carey was the best all-around player in the country. However, prior to the nationals, she confessed to being hard on herself, until her step back gave her a new perspective. Despite her impressive performance in the 2023 Worlds qualifier and a bronze in the vault at the US National Gymnastics Championships, her spot at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris was in jeopardy.
All went smoothly, though, for the Olympian who secured her second Swiss Cup win yesterday. Just after posing on the podium with a gold, the gymnast wrote a moving note for her supporters.
