The fourth night of DWTS is around the corner, and one of the nine remaining couples in Team USA gymnast and Rylee Arnold have some big plans. The Dedication Night, which will feature the three-time Mirrorball Champion Mark Ballas returning to the Ballroom as guest judge, will have the in-house judges visit rehearsals to assess progress and offer feedback. Not to forget, live viewer votes combined with the judges’ scores will determine who may be in jeopardy of elimination. Talk about intensity!
Nedoroscik has reserved an Argentine Tango to “Seven Nation Army” by The White Stripes for Oct 15, dedicating the routine to men’s gymnastics. To kick off the week in style, Spieth Gymnastics even arranged to get the pommel horse apparatus to the ballroom just a couple of hours ago! The 25-year-old wrote, “Busnari in the ballroom‼️‼️ Surprised myself by making one cuz I haven’t trained this skill since May 😅!! Definitely not part of the dance routine, but man it feels nice to swing some horse.”
It looks like Stephen is warming up just fine, and a well-wisher couldn’t help but drop in from afar! Remember when Olympic gold medalist Laurie Hernandez hailed Stephen Nedoroscik in all caps the night he won his first-ever individual bronze medal? “Let’s go, horse boy,” she wrote on X. As Stephen now finds himself dabbling his dancing feet in a showbiz program, a career trajectory quite similar to Laurie herself, the 2016 DWTS winner probably just acted on her gut feeling that a little self-care wouldn’t go amiss for The Specialist.

The Penn State alum just received a special package and seems to be over the moon about it. In his recent Instagram story, the ex-Nittany Lion gymnast shared the care bundle that arrived for him from the retired Olympian. Uploading an image of the Olay items, Nedoroscik wrote,
“HUGE shoutout to @lauriehernandez!!! your DWTS survival kit is so much appreciated.” Along with the first-aid kits, cleansing melts, Lola blankets, and serum bottle, Hernandez also sent her confirmation that she’s among the fans who firmly believe that Stephen Nedoroscik is the real-life Clark Kent with a Superman plushie!

Stephen seems to be even more grateful for the gifts because he’s having a tough time keeping up with the schedule and routines. “My body hurts so much,” he confessed as a follow-up in his social media update. Considering Rylee had already given a teaser about their Week 3 routine to be “intense, bold, and strong,” John Williams’ Superman-themed paso doble took a lot out of him. First, a class entry to the stage in a true Clark Kent fit with the suit, jacket, and glasses. Seconds later, he reappeared in a sparkly red United States-themed outfit, throwing the glasses aside, kissing his biceps, and walking out to meet Arnold with a great deal of swank! Now imagine doing all of that while wearing a two-and-a-half-inch pair of heels throughout week-long practice sessions and during the show!
“[[Heels] destroyed my calves… I’m getting to the point where it’s like you know the legs and the hips and stuff are all getting to the point where it’s like they don’t hurt anymore. But there are certainly things that are surprising me like the side of my calves and stuff. It’s just like the funniest muscles that you didn’t even know could bother you, like the arches of my feet.”

Earlier this year in Paris, Stephen Nedoroscik and his Team USA teammates made history by securing the country’s first podium finish in men’s gymnastics in 16 years. The victory brought immense joy to both fans and the athletes, celebrating a long-awaited achievement. However, Nedoroscik, always eager to push his boundaries, set his sights beyond gymnastics. While many of his teammates joined Simone Biles on the second edition of the Gold Over America Tour, the 25-year-old chose a different path—signing up for the 33rd season of Dancing With The Stars. Proving his versatility, Nedoroscik showed that his rhythmic prowess extends beyond the pommel horse, impressing audiences with his dance moves.
From the paso doble to foxtrot, Stephen has shown that he’s just as good at even dancing as he is at lending the USA his skills to win hardware at the biggest sporting tournament in the world. But his newfound passion hasn’t made him forget his passion. At the upcoming Dedication Night, Nedoroscik is set to honor his gymnastics brethren to the tunes of Seven Nation Army by the White Stripes. Along with that, he’s also in the process of making a gymnastics fan out of his DWTS star Rylee. Over their time together on the dance floor, Stephen has also used every opportunity to teach Arnold the intricacies of his beloved sport. But it has been exhausting for the athlete nonetheless to keep up with the schedule while also learning new things. But will Hernandez’s offering supply him with any additional boost this Tuesday? We’ll have to wait to see!
