Olympic gymnast MyKayla Skinner and her husband, Jonas Harmer, exchanged vows in 2019. After winning a silver medal in the women’s vault at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, MyKayla retired from elite gymnastics. Their journey took another turn with the arrival of their first child, Charlotte Jane Harmer, in September 2023. Parenthood enriched MyKayla’s life, but it also introduced new challenges. Unfortunately, a bout of COVID-19 and pneumonia disrupted her journey just before the Olympics. However, she returned triumphantly to win a silver medal in Tokyo. Despite her impressive achievements, she chose to retire in 2021 after completing her graduation.
