Usually, it is easy to assume a person’s age by their appearance. But sometimes appearances can be deceiving and assumptions can lead to mistaken judgments. Something similar happened on a flight with gymnastics queen, Simone Biles, last year. Due to her adorable stature and bubbly nature, Biles was once mistaken as a child on a flight, despite being 25 years old. Herein, Biles noticed something magical and shared it with her fans.

While Biles was sitting on the window seat of her flight, the sun rays peaking from the window directly hit the big diamond on her ring. This resulted in a phenomenon that led to sparkles being visible above the gymnast’s hand. Amazed by the magical sight, Biles captured it in a video. Posting it in her story, she wrote, “my ring is making these sparkle.”

While it might sound weird, it would’ve been Biles’ reality had she not politely declined a flight attendant last year. It happened around the time Biles flew to Washington to collect her Presidential Medal. On her way back, while the gymnast was boarding her flight, she encountered an embarrassing situation. An attendant mistook the 4’8″ gymnast for a kid and handed her a coloring book.

Handling the situation gracefully, Biles politely declined the offer. Furthermore, she revealed to the attendant that she was a 25-year-old. Proud of how she handled the situation, Biles took to her Instagram to share it with her fans. Posting a photo with a smirk, Biles narrated the ordeal in the caption. Soon the photo went viral on various social media platforms and fans too had a good laugh about it.
