The Clark Kent of gymnastics is winning in life. After lending his skills on the pommel horse to help the USA clinch a spot on the podium at the Olympics after 16 long years, Stephen Nedoroscik is justifiedly at the center of attention for fans nationwide. Owing to his successful City of Love campaign, the Penn State Nittany Lion has announced that he will keep his gymnastics career in the backseat for now. But the 25-year-old seems to have enough to keep the fans satiated.

Right after the conclusion of the 33rd Games, fans were elated to learn that Stephen Nedoroscik wanted to try his hands at dancing. Teaming up with pro dancer Rylee Arnold, the Olympian was announced as one of the participants in this year’s Dancing With The Stars, and his followers went into a frenzy. The anticipation has been high, and it has even gotten Nedoroscik on the red carpet at the Emmys. The gymnastics celebrity made an appearance at the Peacock Theatre for the glamorous event, and a social media post by Today Show captured a special moment from the night.

In the post from September 15, Nedoroscik and his girlfriend Tess McCracken can be seen posing for the glambot at the 2024 Emmy Awards. “…they absolutely slayed the glambot,” reads the caption of the post, as the accompanying video snippet shows the couple putting their best feet forward. As McCracken blows a kiss toward the camera, the Olympian embraces his uncanny similarity with the journalist avatar of Superman as he takes off his glasses lucdly. For understandable reasons, fans are losing their minds.

Rainey, an enthralled fan like many of us, couldn’t stop exclaiming how perfect the moment was and how effortless Stephen and his beau looked in front of the camera. “IT-COUPLE!” proclaimed the excited fan. However, this fan wasn’t the only one who could feel the love in the air at the award ceremony.

The duo met before their freshman year at Penn State in 2016. Both McCracken and were part of the female and male gymnastics squads respectively. It was love at first sight. “Immediately there was a friendship, and we just continued talking. Within a week, we were basically dating,” Stephen Nedoroscik said in an interview in July. After eight long years, they’re still going strong and were seen sharing Stephen’s Olympic triumph in Paris last month. Naturally, fans can’t get over how cute they look even after so long together.

From Simone Biles: RISING to SPRINT, these docuseries have become like a sort of portal into the lives of the athletes who are admired and loved all over the country. With that, people have also come to understand that these stars are just like the next person. As Stephen Nedoroscik was seen being all snazzy with his girlfriend, another fan pondered over how the couple spends their days away from the spotlight. With that thought in mind, Patrick commented, “I need the multi-cam sitcom version of their story, starring them,” and frankly, we’d be interested too!

“I love this couple!!” proclaimed another fan who was too excited to see Nedoroscik in a different look than his usual USA leotard. In Paris, the pommel horse specialist was the last performer for Team USA as he anchored the team to come out of an almost two-decade-long medal draught. For justifiable reasons, all eyes were on the Nittany Lions gymnast in the City of Love, but he looked at home at the Emmys as well.

Considering all the things that have come Stephen Nedoroscik’s way in the past few months alone, it can be easy to surmise that he’s having a blast at the moment. Two medals at the grandest sporting event in the world to waiting to step onto the next adventure of his life with Rylee as they wait to take over DWTS. All things taken into account, this fan thinks now might be the highest point in Nedoroscik’s life. “Stephen having the summer of his life,” and we have no arguments.
