The LSU gymnastics’ senior class, Haleigh Bryant, crafted an inspirational parable for the juniors this season. The Cornelius native gymnast continued her top form in the last three weeks out of five weeks of the season. Moreover, against the Arkansas Razorbacks, Haleigh Bryant lifted herself to a paramount position as in three routines, she topped the leaderboard. A perfect ten chased her on that night as well. And that time, it came in the floor exercise. So when the team was on the move against the Georgia gymnastics program on Friday, a sizeable chunk of responsibility went to Haleigh Bryant.

Against the GymDogs, the 2021 NCAA champion on vault has a long history. So before Friday night, that history once again inspired Haleigh Bryant to start on the same note.

LSU gymnastics’ prized fight on the contention of the national level was scheduled against the Georgia gymnastics squad. This time the LSU Tigers appeared as the guests in Stegeman Coliseum. Being a favorite one, Haleigh Bryant started the evening on a high point. This time, the beam routine witnessed the magic of the LSU senior. As the LSU Gymnastics’s X-handle gave out, “The senior just scored her first career perfect 10 on beam and is now perfect on every event.”

This was the first time the 22-year-old gymnast had the taste of a perfect 10 on the beam routine. Soon, Haleigh Bryant entered the history book as the 14th gymnast to record a perfect 10 on every single gymnastics event. However, since the inception of the evening, Haleigh raged at the opponents with high scores. At first, in the vault, she brought out her champion color with 9.95. Then, in the floor routine, she led the LSU pack with 9.950. And then the culminating moment came when Haleigh Bryant flew untouched, with the perfect 10 in the beam routine. Those performances almost roused the previous year’s performance when Haleigh Bryant humbled the Bulldogs.

The continuation of form each time

LSU HC Jay Clark trusted Haleigh Bryant before the Athens game, as the gymnast had a history of records against the same opponent. Last year, LSU faced Georgia after a defeat against Arkansas. That time, Haleigh took the major responsibility of bringing the squad back again on the victorious path. That time, in the vault, she earned 9.975. Soon on the bar, the score was converted to 9.900. That score continued in the beam routine as well. But a perfect 10 was a missout.
