A few hours ago, Biles took to her Instagram to share a picture from her wedding. She posed with her friends, one of whom was her dear friend Madison Kocian. The gymnast wished her on her birthday, adding a special note with the picture.?

The picture in Biles?s story featured Simone with three of her friends. It was a group picture with Madison putting her arm around Biles?s shoulder. Sharing the picture, the gymnast wrote in her story, ?happy birthday @madison_kocian such a special friend love you so much?, adding a crown and a green heart emoji.?

Madison Kocian and Simone Biles?s friendship dates back to their peak gymnastics days. The two were prominent teammates of the iconic “The Final Five,? the US gymnastics team that dominated the 2016 Rio Olympics. The team also consisted of Laurie Hernandez, Gabby Douglas, and Aly Raisman.?

Moreover, the memory became even more special for Simone, because she won her first gold medal in a group event with this team. Besides the Olympics, they also went on National tours together.?

Biles?s special friend Madison Kocian first won with her team at the World Championship in 2014 and 2015. Eventually, it brought her into the limelight. She proved her gymnastics medal again in 2016 by winning the silver medal in the uneven bar event, besides the gold medal in the group event. Moreover, post her gymnastics career, she studied at the University of California to complete her graduation in 2020. Presently, Madison is working at Children’s Health as a medical assistant.?
