Simone Biles has been on a joy ride as of late. Tying the knot with Jonathan Owens, a triumph at the National Championships, or 5 medal victory on the stages of Antwerp, Biles has experienced an upward trajectory for the year. However, what the gymnastics icon appears more elated about seems to be the work towards the athletic duo’s forever home.

A journey that started for the beloved couple in March has witnessed a rather larger crowd with the 7-time Olympic medalist’s jocular updates. From breaking ground to fitting tiles, Biles’s spectators have gotten a glimpse of the highs and lows. Following along, the gymnast, back from her trip to New York has another set of updates on her million-dollar opulent Texas mansion.

Simone Biles goes all heart eyes

A construction of excitement hasn’t been all that smooth for Biles and Owens. Recently, the couple faced a setback during what appeared to be a “trim walk.” However, now back on track, the progress has drawn heart-eyes from Simone. In her latest Instagram stories, Biles shared a new look at what seems like a doorway to the backyard. The elongated door topped by a squared window stretched to meet the edges of high ceilings. But what drew excitement from Simone was the finishing touches of black frames bordering the glasses of the two.

The gymnast further shared the furnishings that have begun to shape the house. “This just makes me so happy,” Biles wrote, sharing the WIP clips of shelves, storage spaces, and door frames. Her updates concluded with more elation captioned “doors and baseboards EEEEPPPP.” Biles, who teased, “A home is made with love & dreams” in the initial stages, has taken it on to see it through to the end.

The duo’s dream journey

The dream project for the couple started back in March when Simone Biles shared the update on the groundbreaking mansion. However, though the hallowed halls saw its elements falling together, it wasn’t rid of inconveniences. Later last month, Biles went on one of her regular visits expecting it to last for 30 minutes. But the trim walk stage, which is supposed to be the final stage, giving life to the vision, caused a problem for Simone.

“Called my dad for backup yesterday bc I panicked!” Biles wrote on her stories. Nonetheless, the problem which wasn’t stated exclusively was taken care of after hours of work. As per her updates, the mansion is set to entail a bedroom, game room-slash-wet bar, and theater among more. But the lake view front, enhanced with sliding doors, has clearly stolen the gymnast’s heart. Moreover, the mansion has assumed a location in Houston, Texas, a place native to Simon Biles. This geographical feature, making it all the more meaningful.
